A wonderful way for new members to discover their God-given talents and how they can best use these gifts in service to WEUMC.
A ministry for anyone in our community who would like to discover their core, God-given talents. As we know more about ourselves we can better serve God, others and ourselves.

Everything Must Change: a subgroup – an opportunity
Last winter, the Open Study Group (LL2) read and discussed Brian D. McLaren’s book Everything Must Change. Since then they have been meeting to discuss how, as a group, they can join together to help be a part of that change. After much discussion it was decided that their primary focus would be to work on issues dealing with food (hunger, nutrition, access, budgeting/shopping, etc.).
Women’s Bible Study
Rev. Margie Howell and Rev. Julie Halstead host a Women’s Bible study on Tuesdays in Room 314 from noon to 1 p.m. for the wild and wonderful women of West End UMC and their friends who are hungry for studying scripture and making it relevant in today’s world. The group is known as WOW - Women on the Way. "M & J" use a variety of books focusing on topical biblical issues as well as specific scriptural study material, all from a woman's way of study. Call Lois Anderson at 321-8500 to sign up.
