West End United Methodist Church

Nashville Pride Festival and Equity Walk 2019

Join us June 22 and 23 for our annual Pride Festival Ministry. It’s our 21st year and after this past General Conference, it is more important than ever for us to share the Loving Light of Christ showing folks we’re not “that kind of United Methodist Church”.

In addition to our regular booth where we tell folks about our church and sell our Bedrock Beliefs T-shirts, this year we are participating in a joint UMC Communion Service booth that will offer Holy Communion to festival attendees. Many clergy from across the area will preside over communion services upon the hour and then laity will continue to extend the already consecrated elements throughout the hour. Our own Rev. Carol will preside at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. We expect this to be a moving witness of God’s love for all, and we’d love your help.

Before the festival begins, a group of West Enders will participate in the annual Equality Walk down Broadway at 10 a.m. on Saturday June 22; the more the merrier!

To register for any of the weekend’s activities visit westendumc.org/pride or contact Bryan Roberson at bryan@bryanroberson.com or 615.957.3781.  We look forward to seeing you at the festival!
