Genesis To Revelation

13 sessions / 60 minutes, no prerequisites
Sunday evening sessions. This is a comprehensive thirteen session, verse-by-verse, book-by-book study of the New International Version Bible. The study has twenty-four volumes and four Leader's Guides and strengthens participants understanding and appreciation of the Bible by enabling them to engage the Scripture on three levels:

  • What does the Bible say?
  • What does this passage mean?
  • How does the Scripture relate to my life?

Rev. Michael Williams leads this early morning men’s breakfast group at 7 a.m. in McWhirter Hall.

Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study

This lay-led Bible study tackles topical as well as book studies at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays in Room 314.

Disciple Bible Study

This is a four-year course of study and serves as an excellent foundation for biblical knowledge. The courses are structured, video-based with daily reading to not only inform, but also transform lives as disciples for Jesus Christ. Each year requires a commitment of 30-34 weeks of 2 hour class gatherings and daily individual study for approximately 30 minutes. Completion of Disciple I is a prerequisite for Disciple II, III or IV, which can be taken in any order.

  • Disciple I is an overview of 74 percent of the Bible
  • Disciple II concentrates on Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts
  • Disciple III the Prophets and the Letters of Paul
  • Disciple IV covers the Old Testament Writings along with John and Revelation.

Jesus in the Gospels

This is an extended spin-off from the Disciple Bible Study series which focuses on the portraits of Jesus found in each of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The class runs two hours a week for 30 weeks, with 30 minutes of daily Bible and workbook readings.

Christian Believer

This course is shaped around basic doctrines and theological concepts of the Christian faith. Readings include Bible study and selections from renowned theologians over the ages. The class itself is two hours per week for 30 weeks, with 30 minutes of daily individual readings.
