Directs the Chancel Choir at 11:00 as well as the handbell choirs and works closely with the worship life of the congregation.

After about 30 years, the Reverend Margaret Howell finally has the job for which she entered into the ministry. With both a passion for and a training in pastoral care and counseling, Howell has already made deep connections as West End UMC’s new minister of home and hospital visitation.

Howell grew up on a farm just outside of Creston, Iowa. “We had a loving family and a loving extended family,” Margie said, feeling blessed. While her father farmed, her mother was a teacher.
