New to West End UMC? How to Join West End UMC
West End welcomes new members into the congregation each month in a number of ways based on your individual situation. If you are already Baptized Christian, the process is a simple transfer of membership and profession of faith.
NOTE: For adults who seek to be baptized and confirmed for the first time, please contact John Feldhacker to schedule an Adult Baptism Preparation session at 615.321.8500, ext 8838 or .
If you are transferring from another denomination or joining a church for the first time, we encourage you to attend our West End 101 Class, which meets at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday morning in John Feldhacker’s office. Each of these seven classes address different questions about what it means to be a Christian from the perspective of the United Methodist Church. Each class is intentionally self-contained so that you can take them in any order. No pre-registration is required.
