Summer will soon be here! Want an excellent opportunity to try out teaching children for a few weeks at a time? Here is your chance! Volunteers are needed to help guide our children’s Sunday school classes this summer.  We want to respect and honor the wonderful ways that many of our regular teachers have taught each week during the past school year by giving them a much needed break!  The curriculum will be fun and easy to use. Some of the opportunities that are available are to lead small groups for preschool or elementary age children, lead large group gathering of preschool and elementary age children, and prayer partners. Our themes this summer: Foundations of our Faith: God, Jesus, the cross, God’s love. There might even be Legos involved. Also, the children will look at our United Methodist history and how we can show compassion, justice, worship, and devotion as children. Be on the lookout for the Flat Wesley brothers, John and Charles!
