- Immersion Bible Study: Luke - taught by Eric Gambill in Room 310 starting Wednesday, June 15 at 6 p.m. This study is an 8 week study ending August 3. Michael will be preaching on Luke this summer and this study will give a deeper picture into the gospel story. This study will allow you to explore the life of Jesus with your head and heart and discover how to put it into practice in your life.
- Real Love: It’s Not What You Think! - taught by Sally Ahner in Room 304 for four Wednesdays in July: July 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Our culture sings and tells stories about love all the time in popular music and other media. Love is a central tenet of the Christian church: “God is Love” (I John 4: 8b). Here at West End we have a vision statement declaring our call to be “the loving light of Christ.” But do we really know what we are yearning for, singing about, believing in? This class will explore the writing of two respected contemporary authors—John Welwood and Greg Baer— who have spent a good part of their lives learning more about the difference between REAL LOVE and its imitations.
Childcare will be provided with an RSVP. If you need childcare please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
