This month's communion offering will benefit West End's Child of Promise Scholarships.  On a mission trip to Honduras a few years ago, West End members connected with the families of young women who were in desperate need of financial support for education.  Over the years, we've developed relationships with Gaby and Elisabeth Melgar Ramos, sisters studying at the University of Honduras.  We've also supported Teresa Dominguez and Cinthia Carbajal who have both completed their education with our support.  What was discovered years ago in Honduras is the importance of remaining connected to and supportive of the young people we meet while on global mission trips.  Often, educational costs are too much for a family to handle on meager wages.  Education is life changing and we believe our friends in Honduras and around the world need our support.  Please help us continue our legacy by contributing to the Child of Promise scholarship fund.
