Christmas Party for Reconciliation Ministries, Inc. - December 15th
Christmas Party for Reconciliation Ministries, Inc.
(Serving Families of Incarcerated)
Tuesday, December 15
6:00pm - 8:00pm
West End UMC Gymnasium
You can help the dreams of a child come true this Christmas by participating with our annual party for children who have an incarcerated family member. This party will be a fun time with refreshments, crafts, games, singing and a visit from Santa Claus.
You can make this party a success by being Santa’s helper in one or more of the following ways:
Buying gifts for the children
We provide you with the child’s name, wish list, sizes and gift tags for each gift. Each child receives one gift of clothing and one toy. Please observe a $50.00 total spending limit and wrap no more than two packages so that children’s feelings are respected. In the past there have been clothes that did not fit the children. When you purchase the clothing (from Wal-Mart, K-Mart or Target as these stores are more accessible to the families), please place the receipt in a sealed envelope marked “receipt” and wrap it in the package. The gifts need to be wrapped, labeled and delivered to Room 310 (Lois Anderson’s office) by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9. If you are unable to shop, a donation of $50.00 will sponsor a child and we will shop for you. We will also accept monetary donations to cover expenses of the party.
