The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper was a sweet success. Delicious pancakes, served up by Tally Arnold and his cooking crew from Blackman UMC, were enjoyed by over 200 people. The festive decorations in McWhirter Hall, thanks to Jamie Teal, helped make this a fun and memorable event for all present. Thanks go to the Senior Adult Council for their work in sponsoring this event. Special thanks go to Gary Langley, overall chairperson, Bob Norling, ticket sales, Charles Hooper, poster design, and all who served in many ways, Edgar Lowe, Diana Nelson, Ann Woodmore, John Nance, Louise Kellogg, Leon Radar and others. And a great big “thank you” goes to Tiffany Kirkland whose organizational skills made working on the project a pleasure.
