Coming Soon to the 4th Story Theater

Hershey, Here! at Saddle Up! Meet Hershey—a fun-loving and hard-working horse. His job is at Saddle Up!, a therapeutic riding program for children with disabilities, located just 15 miles from our church.

Hershey has lots of stories. But as a horse, he can only tell what he sees, experiences, or overhears. He doesn’t always know the whole story. Fortunately, Hershey’s Pony Pal, Crys Zinkiewicz, does.

With Hershey’s help, Crys, a West End member, has written the book, Hershey, Here! at Saddle Up! to delight, inform, and inspire people about the work of Saddle Up! and the “magic” that the horses work with the children. Suitable for anyone who loves horses or who cares about children, the presentation in the theater features Hershey’s stories, lots of photos, and special music by the band “Bob’s Your Uncle.” (They agreed to play Hershey’s favorite, “Happy Trails,” so he was OK with them coming!)

The program is fun and free! The books, produced with support from a West End Mustard Seed Grant, will be on sale, and proceeds benefit Saddle Up! Straight from the horse’s mouth, get the scoop on Saddle Up! and its unique ministry. Invite your friends too! Child care for young children will be provided.
