The Open Study Sunday School class invites you to join them in the Theater on Sunday, September 28 at 9:45 a.m. for a presentation about ODIM (the Organization for the Development of the Indigenous Maya) in Guatemala.  JoAna Dwyer, founder of ODIM, and Rev. Jeff Hassel, ODIM Executive Director, will be here to share about their medical, educational, and construction programs in the Western Highlands of Guatemala among the indigenous Mayan people.  ODIM operates medical clinics in San Juan and San Pablo la Laguna, along the banks of Lake Atitlan, which are staffed year-round by local providers and foreign volunteers.    West End UMC has partnered with ODIM since 2007, and has sent mission teams for the past three years.  We hope you will plan to join us!
