Teaching The Bible To Young Children
A Sunday Morning Workshop for Parents, Grandparents, and Others Who Care for Preschool and Elementary Age Children
Have you ever wished that you were better equipped to help your child, grandchild, or an important little one in your life learn about the Bible and explore his or her burgeoning faith? If so, then this is the workshop for you. Designed by Rev. Lib Caldwell, visiting professor in religious education at Vanderbilt Divinity School, this series of four Sunday morning sessions will provide you with information about various biblical resources available for young children and the tools to use them well. Lib has also invited renowned New Testament scholar Dr. Amy-Jill Levine to come and discuss her new children’s book, The Marvelous Mustard Seed. Additionally, she has enlisted the help of Brittany Sky, Senior Editor of Children’s Resources at the United Methodist Publishing House. The workshop is entirely free of charge and open to anyone and everyone. Invite your friends and join us for this exciting opportunity.
If you plan to participate, it would be helpful for us to know you are coming by registering below by September 23. For more information, please feel free to contact Pastor Brandon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
