West End United Methodist Church

The Bowen Library at West End UMC offers religious, spiritual and educational resouces for members of the congregation, Sunday morning classes, Small Group and group study leaders. In addition to books on the Bible, spirituality and prayer, justice and mercy, and inter-religious topics, the library offers a children's space with books and toys so all can enjoy a quiet place to sit and read. During the year, you will find library resources reflecting the seasons of Lent and Advent and the liturgical calendar.

The library proper is located in the alcove adjacent to Reed Hall, and the bookcases in Reed Hall hold books available for check out at well. The library is open whenever the building is open and operates on a self-serve check-out honor system.

Checking out books is easy! Search our extensive catalog online at librarycat.org/lib/WEUMClibrary. At the church, use the QR code found in the library or on the bookshelves in Reed Hall to search our extensive catalog on your smartphone and check out books with your patron ID.

To request a patron ID, fill out and submit the following form, and you will be notified when your account has been activated. We encourage all to take advantage of this wonderful resource for faith and spiritual growth.
