Pride 2026
The Nashville Pride Festival is a welcoming place to come together with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the progress of the LGBTQ+ community, and West End UMC has a presence there each year! We are delighted to join with other UMCs in the area to present one booth with individual church tables. PRIDE will take place this summer at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park on June 27. Here are three ways you can be involved:
-
Pride Ecumenical Worship Service
Wednesday, June 3 // 6:30 p.m.
West End United Methodist Church
Join other Nashville communities of faith for an evening of worship and fellowship as we gather to give thanks to God for the gifts of love and of diversity, as we celebrate the essential place that LGBTQ+ people have in the life of the Church. We will host the service this year at West End UMC.
-
Be a Part of the Parade - Join us Saturday morning, June 28, for this fun and exciting parade through Nashville to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride! West End has 30 spots to fill in the parade, so watch for sign up soon!
- Host Our West End Booth - Help us share the light of Christ at our West End Booth! We need people to help with set up, sell shirts, and clean up at the end of the festival. Individuals or families can sign up to do this.
