This morning we have a Summer Hymn Sing an hour before our regular service.  In announcing this several weeks ago, we invited people to submit their favorite hymns to be sung by all of us today, and during the Hymn Sing we are taking requests.  Dean McIntyre, who has long been a central figure in United Methodist hymnody, and has, with his wife and grown daughter, been a part of West End UMC for many years, is a gifted pianist and plays the piano for this event.  Rev. Dr. Carol Cavin-Dillon introduces the Hymn Sing, introduces each hymn and leads the singing.
