This is the fifth in our annual series of Lenten Noon Concerts, held on Thursdays through the season of Lent. This concert features J. D. Plant on the organ. Mr. Plant is an international concert organist, conductor, vocalist, country music composer and musical arranger. After a period of thirty years as music director at various churches in Montreal, Canada, and New York City, Mr. Plant moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he is now the organist at the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon. His concert today features music by Marchand, Mendelssohn, Guilmant, and Widor. Between the pieces he comments on the one coming up next.
