Lenten Noon Concert Series 2026 (6th concert)

Topics:Concert, Lent

Each year West End UMC hosts a series of concerts on Thursdays at noon during Lent, and this sixth concert of Lent, 2026, features organist, Stephen Z. Cook, playing West End UMC’s 136-rank Moller pipe organ.  The concert features six pieces created by three prominent French organists/composers from the nineteeth and twentieth centuries.  The pieces range from calm and contemplative to energetic and use many features of the Moller organ.  Dr. Cook is a concert organist and adjunct professor at Belmont University.  Much more information about Dr. Cook as well as the full concert details are available in the program, a pdf of which is available for viewing and downloading below.
