Join us for this ground-breaking, original ballet that explores the history of slavery and racism and the ongoing story of restoration and reconciliation.  Our cast of pre-professional dancers are working under the direction of Gerald Watson, Nashville Ballet company member and Rejoice School of Ballet faculty, to tell this powerful story. Founded in 2000, Rejoice School of Ballet is a non-profit dance school in East Nashville that seeks to make excellent classical ballet training accessible to diverse students. 

Rejoice is also the official mentor school and training partner of Nashville Ballet.  In their own efforts to increase diversity in the art of classical ballet, Nashville Ballet has partnered with Rejoice to make investments in our school and our dancers including tickets to performances, master classes with their faculty and scholarships for their summer intensive and academy training.
