Advocacy Letter Writing Workshop
John Wesley set the example for our discipleship through acts of personal and public piety. As United Methodists we have a rich tradition of seeking justice for the voiceless and powerless and making a difference in their lives. One way this can happen is through advocacy on their behalf. At 9:30 a.m. on November 5 in Room 322, the Covenant Discipleship groups of West End will offer a two-hour workshop on advocacy through effective letter-writing. The workshop will be led by Tom Lee and focus on the why and how of such a practice. We invite you to come and learn more about this practice and reflect on how it might be a part of your call to discipleship. Please register below.
